The international conference hails propolis as a major contributor to solving the global problem of antibacterial resistance.

Propolis is a sticky brown substance that bees produce by collecting resins and pollen from plants and trees and processing them to provide an immune system to the hive. There has been an increase in scientific research into the problem of antibiotic resistance and a huge increase in consumer interest and use of natural alternatives.

At the heart of propolis are resins that the bee collects from trees and plants. These resins form the basis of the plant’s immune system and are processed in the hive for the bee’s immune system. Scientific research on the use of propolis has doubled in recent years.

An international online conference of world-renowned scholars from around the world came together recently to explore propolis, one of the most powerful immune boosters known to mankind.

The conference was organized by the International Propolis Research Group (IPRG) which is made up of eminent pharmacologists, medical scientists and physicians from all continents, many of whom sit together at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to develop standards for propolis that can ultimately help consumers. understand and use this new drug. More than 40 scientific papers from around 20 countries were presented. The articles illustrated how propolis can provide specific help for conditions such as impaired cognitive function, HIV, COVID 19, cancer and kidney disease. Research papers have also illustrated the many antibiotic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antitumor qualities of propolis. The scientists agreed to work together to develop the unique potential of propolis as a new form of sustainable medicine – medicine that keeps the body going and does no harm.

This medicine of the future is produced by the amazing bee, a living creature that deserves our care and respect. We need to build a new relationship with medicine – a compassionate ecology.
