SOMERS VILLAGE COUNCIL: 5:30 p.m., Town/Village Hall, 7511 12th St. Village Council working session to include discussions on possible revision of the ordinance regarding the keeping of poultry on plots of less than one acre; discussing a contract to purchase an ambulance to replace a 2000 Med Tec; and discussion of a project offer for the improvement of public stormwater services.

KENOSHA COUNTY COUNCIL HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE: 6 p.m., Kenosha County Administration Building, 1010 56th St., Second Floor Conference Room.

KENOSHA COUNTY COUNCIL: 7:30 p.m. at the Kenosha County Administration Building, 1010 56th Street, County Council Chambers. Items on the agenda include: a resolution that firearms and electronic weapons lawfully owned and transported in accordance with Wisconsin State statutes are permitted in any building or on any land owned, leased, or controlled by Kenosha County, except for the Kenosha County Courthouse, Public Safety Building, Jail, Detention Center, Remand Building, and Molinaro Building; a resolution repealing the 1996 policy on the hiring, retention and firing of division heads and adopting a policy that department and division heads are county employees appointed by the county executive and requiring confirmation from the county council; a resolution prohibiting the acceptance of grants or donations from non-governmental entities for the purpose of funding the administration of elections; a resolution declaring Kenosha County a Second Amendment Sanctuary County; appointment.
